About Scrapes and Scars

Scrapes and Scars chronicle the unapologetic story of my journey to overcome the agony and devastation of a horrifying childhood experience. One that was meant to cripple and challenge my very being for life, but I learned that obstacles and trials were meant to be defeated.

Through this journey, you too will learn that the scrapes and scars of your past do not define you; your ability to overcome them does.

We live in a world where our children are growing up with the fear of child abuse stigmatization and this usually leads to depression and eventually suicide.

Statistics show that Those who molest children look and act just like everyone else. There are people who have or will sexually abuse children in churches, schools and youth sports leagues.

Scrapes and Scars speaks at learnt about this societal menace and how we can curb this evil and also bring succor to the victims...

I'm going to  Mom-Mom's house!

front-2.jpg

Mia, a young girl eagerly waits for it to be the weekend so she can enjoy it with her grandmom. Mia calls her Mom-Mom. “I’m going to mom mom’s house!”, is a fun little poem about a young girl Mia who waits the entire week for it to be Friday, so she can have her day off from school and an exciting adventure with Mom-Mom.

The fun flow of the poem and the storyline accompanying it, makes it a lovely read. It will result in some really sweet weekends for you and your grand children. Let's not forget the coloring book that provides a great alternative to standard activities that helps stimulate a child's creativity and imagination.
