ABOUT CHAVONNE

Chavonne Boyd-Hurdle is a volunteer court-appointed special advocate (CASA) for abused and neglected children. She is very passionate about care-giving and she ensures that she continuously fights for the betterment of children.
Due to her very challenging childhood, she makes use of her experience to inspire and motivate children and young adults with similar experience to overcome their challenges, fears and face life with a more positive inclination.
As part of Chavonne’s drive for developing the future of her immediate and larger society, she decided to write an amazing book titled “Scrapes and Scars,” detailing her childhood with the aim of helping children that are suffering from similar situations and also showing the society that these issues need to be addressed and not hidden.

Chavonne Boyd-Hurdle is consistently creating solutions to many societal ills by providing parents and guardians with proven facts and actionable guides to giving their children the care and attention they need to become responsible members of the society.
Chavonne is a behavioral specialist and mobile therapist who provides intensive therapeutic services to children with Autism Spectrum disorder, ADHD, and/or other behavioral disorders. She also works as a substitute teacher.
